No Need to Add Funds to Your Account
You do NOT need to Add Funds to your account to pay for domains. We will automatically attempt to charge the credit card in your account for domains $5,000 and below within an hour after the auction closes.
Pay over Several Days with Same Credit Card
If you want to pay over several days, or split up the amounts using multiple credit cards, as a Verified Bidder you can use the Add Funds option. This allows you to add to your balance manually, should we not be able to charge the entire amount to your credit card at one time. This is especially helpful if you have daily limits. Be sure to add enough funds to pay for your auction during the allowed pending payment or past due grace periods, as we cannot extend the due date on any auction.
Account Balance or Credit Card
You may use your NameJet account balance or the credit card on file to pay for auctions $5,000 and under. The order processing program will automatically attempt to deduct from your account balance first (within an hour after the auction closes). If you maintain a balance, but your account balance is not sufficient to cover the entire auction, the remaining amount due will be charged to the credit card on file.
For auctions between $5,000 and $10,000 you may add $5,000 to the account and we will charge the remaining balance to your credit card.
Verified bidders may also use PayPal or AliPay to add funds to the account.
If you do not wish to use a credit card for auctions awarded to you, you can send a bank wire transfer to add to your account balance. In order to add domains to your backorder list, or to participate in auctions without a credit card on file, you must add $2500 to your account balance via a wire transfer. If you do not use the funds and wish to close your account, the balance will be wired back to you.
To pay for auctions over $10,000 you must send a bank wire transfer.
Automatic Attempts to Process Pending Auctions
NameJet will attempt to process auctions pending payment once every hour. Please note that to avoid excessive pre-authorizations, our system will only attempt to bill a declined credit card every 12 hours. If you change your credit card, NameJet will attempt to process your order within the next hour. The system will also attempt to charge your card one last time prior to the closure of your account for nonpayment.
The order processing program is automated and we are not able to manually charge your credit card.
Charges Not Going Through
If you know you have sufficient funds on your credit card, and you do not get an email confirmation within an hour after an auctions closes (or after you update your credit card), you may need to contact your bank and approve the merchant NameJet. As we are an internet company attempting to charge the same amount several times, sometimes they decline for your protection.
